Why Security Matters When Choosing a Gardener

Choosing the right gardener in the East Riding area can be fraught with difficult considerations, especially if you are choosing someone to care for the garden of a vulnerable loved one, or your small business workplace. You need to know they are SAFE.
Who are you inviting behind the fences of your boundaries?
Do you really know? Anyone can place a social media advert or stick a leaflet up on a notice-board so how do you really know WHO you are getting?
Some fears when employing a gardener may be; theft of items, robbery, burglary or even them being rude or abusive in manner.
We believe that when you invite someone-in, behind those safe boundaries of your home or workplace, you deserve to have FULL trust.
That is why our Team have a mix of sex of staff; we are predominantly female led, but also have male staff. (so can match up an preferences for a male or female, and we don’t question your right to ask this, as these people will be inside your boundaries and so feel that you DO have a right to choose).
Enhanced DBS
At TAMED.garden; EVERY team member has the highest security clearance. Our small team of staff is made up of …
High Level Care Staff, ex Police and Prison Officers, all who care about your safety AND just enjoy working hard physically, outside in the fresh air; instead of inside offices.
At ANY given moment you can ask to see ANY team members Enhanced DBS verification, previous employment details and Photo I.D (though please note, in the same way we respect YOUR safety and privacy, a team member will never be required to show their address as part of any security vetting process).
At TAMED.garden you will find that you bring on board not just someone to help maintain your garden but a valued friend who actually cares, we have even been known to give Burglary Prevention advice, (I did a course in just this when I was an officer) and can spot weaknesses in your garden security so I usually mention how things can be tightened up!
Heck, we like our customers so much that we think nothing of bringing in a pint of milk and loaf of bread, when we know someone is housebound for a while.
We maintain the gardens of all kinds of clients from elderly ladies living alone to families of surgeons, barristers and magistrates and in EVERY case, take security and friendliness as a given.
Furthermore; we would NEVER share photos of your property on Social Media in ‘look what we have done today’ posts.
We are often asked ‘who else do you ‘do’ around here?’ My stock reply is ‘In the same way that you would wish your use of a service wasn’t shareable information, we do not share the information of other people who have booked us’. Unless you chat between yourselves; your neighbours will never find out any information from us.
